Weatherly: the capstone is now Rides the waves. Slams into waves do no hull damage while you hold the helm, and collisions with rocks, ice and the shore cost the hull half as much (
RidesTheWavesCollision, added by the capstone review), which is the other half of staying afloat in weather: the ranks bend the sail to windward and this keeps the hull. Only the water impact is spared; a ship that is upside down and the Ashlands still hurt it. The ship's physics run on whichever machine owns the ship, so the stone is read from the flag the helmsman publishes, and a passenger's stone does nothing. It used to be 20% rowing speed, a second kind of speed on the stone's own job.*rowspeedis still a supported special for a catalogue that names it.
