A torch snapped into a pole protects that pole (LHM-41).
ProtectFromunder[Sockets]:All(default) ignores every hit on the pole while a paired torch stands in it,Fireignores only fire (Ashlands cinders, burning, the fire share of a mixed hit),Offdisables it. Nothing is stored. Each time the pole is hit, the owner checks whether a paired torch has its socket on the pole's top point, so the protection survives a logout and goes when the torch does. A torch set on top without snapping protects nothing, and the torch itself is not protected. The hook isWearNTear.ApplyDamage, so the wear that destroys a pole with nothing under it is left alone and a torched pole still falls when its support goes. A protected pole still plays its hit effects and shows damage numbers, it just loses no health. The pole's owner decides, so on a server the protection holds only while that player runs Sinka. If the check fails for any reason the hit goes through.
