The hod jib stands on its own and shows its reach (LHM-77). It no longer looks for the nearest stowing post. Its circle,
HodRangeacross, is drawn on the ground while you place one (green when it would join a network, blue when it would stand alone) and on built jibs while you hold the hammer within twice that distance or look at one. A jib built with its centre inside another's circle joins it, and that chains: a row of jibs, each on the edge of the last, covers the union of their circles. A bench is served by the chests in its own network, and separate networks never mix. The build menu and hover text no longer mention a post, and the jib loses the upgrade star. Jibs already standing beside a post keep working.
