Steady footing: the capstone is now Footing back. For three seconds after you recover from a stagger, nothing staggers you again, so a stagger can no longer be chained into the next and the next. It used to be another 5% armour, which is Thick-hided's stat. The first stagger is exactly as dangerous as before; the guard only ends the chain behind it. This is the alternative offered for Rooted, on purpose. Rooted as proposed, no knockback from a creature's hits, is too strong a capstone: a Troll or a Lox that cannot shove you is a lot more than a stagger bar, it would have made the stone the obvious pick, and knockback is how a fight is escaped as well as how it is lost. Steady footing's ranks are unchanged.
