A kill could feed a sapling once for every player who watched it die. In Valheim 1.0 a creature that dies through a death animation runs its death on every client that sees it fall, and each of them fed the nearest sapling. A plain greydwarf is not one of those. Now only the machine that has the creature feeds the sapling.
