Eighteen files, every capital letter wrong
A sweep across the repositories inverted identifier casing. Recovering it turned the compiled DLLs into the backup that git could not be.

The hopper was never crooked
It looked like it leaned. Measuring said otherwise, and the answer was in the texture rather than the mesh.
